Our Story

The doors of Carpet Ace were opened in September 1979 by John and Griet Pace, in Zastron street, Bloemfontein. They initially specialized in Carpet Cleaning.

John realized that there was significant potential in the Free State to supply and fit wall-to-wall carpeting, to complement their cleaning services. Carpet Ace became a trusted name in Bloemfontein, the Free State, Lesotho, and beyond.

In 1987, Robert, their son joined the company to help with the sales and fitment of carpeting. In September 1993, Monica, their daughter joined the company, acquired and managed the Carpet Cleaning department. In 1995, the flooring and carpeting divisions were added to her responsibilities. She started adding additional product lines, such as solid wooden, laminating, bamboo, vinyl and ceramic floors.

In 1997, Monica took over the entire business, building Carpet Ace through its third decade, and up to the present day.

1987

1993
